Every DARA piece begins as rough-sawn timber in our Baghdad atelier. We cut the old joints by hand — mortise and tenon, dovetail, wedge — so the structure holds without a single visible screw. Then we finish with natural oil and wax, letting the grain speak quietly for decades. تبدأ كل قطعة من دارا لوحًا خامًا في محترفنا ببغداد. نَنحت الوصلات العريقة بأيدينا — نقرٌ ولسان، وذيلُ حمامة — فيتماسك الهيكل من دون برغيٍّ ظاهر. ثم نختم بالزيت والشمع الطبيعيَّين، ليحكي عِرقُ الخشب حكايته بهدوء لعقودٍ قادمة.

We listen first — to your room, your light, and your habits — before a single line is drawn. نصغي أولًا — لغرفتك، وضوئها، وعاداتك — قبل أن نرسم خطًا واحدًا.

Handcraftingالصناعة اليدوية
Six to eight weeks at the bench. Solid timber, hand-cut joints, no shortcuts. ستة إلى ثمانية أسابيع على المنضدة: خشبٌ صلب، ووصلاتٌ منحوتة يدويًا، بلا اختصارات.

White-glove deliveryتسليمٌ بقفّازٍ أبيض
Placed, levelled, and polished in your home — then we quietly leave. نضع القطعة ونوازنها ونصقلها في بيتك — ثم ننصرف بهدوء.
